Okay, I wanna share about “ JAPANESE SLANG ” with you guys from now !!
今回は日本語スラングについてシェア！
Actually when I talk with my friends who are exchange students, I sometimes think that their Japanese phrases are old. ( But, compared to their Japanese, my English is so much worse lol ) So well, I'm gonna introduce literally natural Japanese slangs. I'm not sure but if you feel them weird..., you know, Japanese is always weird and difficult to explain. lol
というのも、日本語を勉強している留学生の友達と話すときに「その日本語は今はこう言うよ！」という事が時々あるので、(私もよく英語を指摘されますが笑 ) 今回は日本語スラングをテーマにしてみました！日本語って日本人の私でさえ説明するの苦労するのに。。日本語っていつも変だし、難しいですよね。
1. Chou ( 超・ちょう )
It means very or super or extra.
This slang is CHOU basic and popular.
Ex. 「おー、 超 すてき だね！」
( Omg, chou suteki dane ! )
” Omg, you look super nice ”
AND you can use “ Meccha めっちゃ ” in the same meaning as Chou. It's a kansai dialect. In a positive way, I would feel good humors if foreigners use it.
関西圏の留学生は「めっちゃ」の方を使う気がします笑 ( どこで習うのかな笑 )
2. 〜Kanji ( 〜感じ・かんじ )
It means Vibe or
Feels / Sounds / Tastes / Looks 〜
Ex. 「 この パンケーキ いいかんじ！」
( Kono pancake iikanji ! )
“ This pancake tastes good ! ”
In this case ⬆︎, You can say " Oishi " instead of ＂Iikanji " . And this slang is used in any situation and CHOU natural and casual な na KANJI.
女子高生がよく使う例文でしたが笑「〜な感じ」は結構色んなシュチュエーションで使えるので、必ず教えている中の一つです。
3. Ukeru (ウケる)
It means funny or hilarious or LOL.
Past tense is Uke TA.
Ex. 「 あの映画、超 ウケる / ウケた 」
( Ano eiga, chou ukeru / ta )
" That movie is so funny "
" That movie was so funny "
You might have seen a lot of w and ww even www in sns and casual chat. They derive from 笑う (わらう) and they're Japanese equivalent of LOL.
日本人の使う「wwwって何？」とよく聞かれます。韓国語にも同じような感じのハングルがあるようです。クククだったような。日本人もlolってなんだよ！ってなりますよね笑
